Sonya Thadhani, CFA

 

Investment experience: 14 years; 14 years with firm

Sonya joined Bailard in 1994 and was promoted to the position of Chief Investment Officer in 2008. In this role, she directs and oversees the investment processes and decisions of Bailard portfolio managers. She is also responsible for security analysis, portfolio optimization and portfolio construction across the firm's large cap equities portfolios, serving as portfolio manager of the Bailard large cap/technology strategy and overseeing management of Bailard's technology exchange fund.

A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Sonya earned her BA in mathematics from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1994. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997 and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
