Investment experience: 31 years; 31 years with firm

Janis has been with Bailard since 1980 and serves as the firm's Chief Compliance Officer. In addition to her responsibilities as an CCO, she is also an Investment Counselor and the editor of the 9:05, Bailard's quarterly newsletter. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Janis earned her BA in economics and history from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, in 1977. She also performed two years of graduate work at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Janis is a past president of the CFA Society of San Francisco and an active member of the CFA Institute. Janis currently serves on the board of managers of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America (NSCDA) in the State of California.
