Investment experience: 30 years; 27 years with firm

Art serves as the firm's chief investment strategist and conducts primary economic and market analysis. He joined Bailard in 1981 as a portfolio manager, concentrating on fixed-income investments. Previously, Art worked with Bank of America's trust and investment division. He received his BS in 1975 and his MBA in 1978 from Santa Clara University. He earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst in 1982. Art's economic analysis and market outlook are often quoted in the national press. Away from work, Art enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, hiking, running and playing tennis.
